In the early days of the craziness known as 2020, there was not a lot of work happening. I still needed an outlet to keep creating and sharing ideas so I started making zines for my friends.
Releasing every Sunday, "This Is A Zine" is a self-initiated project where my friends and I explore all areas of design and the world we live in. Each publication is downloadable at home for free and created using a single sheet of paper for print lovers with special drops monthly.

The zine content is centered around a fictional art show taking place inside a shipping container yard. This zine launched at the start of sheltering in place. I wanted to transport people to a physical space while staying home.
Renderings had short cinemagraph quality and BTS of the cover to take advantage of the digital Instagram format.

Each zine has a unique look and content based on what was on my mind that week. Some are simple, underdesigned, and informational. Others are more abstract, artful, or more of a way to vent on current events honestly. We wanted to explore not what styles are on trend, but what styles would do the content justice.

After the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others, I designed these kits to respectfully do my part supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
The Mail Service was designed to get zines in hand focused on BLM, while raising money for "Don't Shoot PDX" a BiPOC lead non-profit.
After the murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others, I designed these kits to respectfully do my part supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
The Mail Service was designed to get zines in hand focused on BLM, while raising money for "Don't Shoot PDX" a BiPOC lead non-profit.
Each kit came with a stack of zines, a BLM stencil sized for skateboard, and custom pins. Each Zine had a specific message within the larger topic of the social movement.

The video was designed to highlight the bonus stencil that came with the kits and inspire folks to use their voice.

Fires have destroyed the west coast at a rate we have never seen before due to climate change. The second Mail Drop features four zines designed as a thought-starter and motivation towards Climate Change. Kits come with 4 zines, Recycled Pins, and air fresher with all profits being donated to the American Red Cross Fire Relief Fund.

Kits come with 4 zines, Recycled Pins, and air fresher with all profits being donated to the American Red Cross Fire Relief Fund.
This drop featured 12 artist collaborations creating four original zines not yet posted on Instagram, as well as custom recycled pins, and an air freshener.
